Green Justice: How Black History Shaped Environmental Law

The Harris County Attorney’s Office proudly invites you to Green Justice: How Black History Shaped Environmental Law CLE on Thursday, Feb. 19. The program will open with welcome remarks from Harris County Attorney Jonathan Fombonne.

Environmental justice affects every part of our community—it shapes where families live, how neighborhoods grow, and who bears the greatest burden of pollution and environmental harm.

This CLE will offer an engaging and accessible exploration of how these issues took shape in Houston, how Black leadership helped drive meaningful change, and how these lessons continue to guide legal practice today.

The deadline to RSVP is February 13th!
