What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Bullard Center Congratulates Houston Housing Authority, Cuney Homes, and Third Ward Community on $50 Million HUD Implementation Award
HOUSTON, TX – The Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University proudly congratulates the Houston Housing Authority (HHA), Cuney Homes, and the Third Ward community on securing a $50 million Implementation Award grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)through the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative, a Justice40-eligible program. This transformative grant is a testament to the collective efforts of local leaders, residents, and stakeholders in driving forward strategies for comprehensive neighborhood revitalization.
The Choice Neighborhoods program is designed to leverage significant public and private investments to address struggling neighborhoods with distressed public or HUD-assisted housing through an integrated approach to community transformation. This grant will support the revitalization of the Cuney Homes public housing development and the surrounding Third Ward neighborhood, making substantial improvements to housing, businesses, services, and schools.
The Bullard Center and Texas Southern University (TSU) students and staff have been an integral part of the planning phase from the beginning. Our commitment to housing, economic, and energy justice is firmly aligned with the objectives outlined in the Third Ward-Cuney Homes Transformation Plan proposed by HHA and its partners. We are dedicated to supporting the People Plan by implementing complementary initiatives such as the development of an Affordable Housing Dashboard, expansion of the Environmental Career Worker Training Program, and the implementation of community solar and microgrid technologies. These efforts aim to enhance the lives of residents in Cuney Homes and the broader Third Ward community by addressing housing inequality, providing economic opportunities, and fostering sustainable energy solutions.
In April 2024, the Bullard Center hosted an Affordable Housing and Economic Opportunity Workshop in partnership with the University of Houston Community Design Resource Center and Friends of Columbia Tap. At this event, we launched the city’s first-ever Affordable Housing Dashboard, developed with the GIS Labat the University of Texas School of Public Health. This innovative tool assists residents and advocates in tracking affordable housing properties, including those owned and operated by the Houston Housing Authority.
The comprehensive Transformation Plan, now backed by the $50 million Implementation Award, includes the construction of 1,115 mixed-income, transit-oriented units and extensive community improvements. In total, HHA and the City leveraged $538.5 million in public and private sources to support the Transformation Plan. This includes $166.7 million for the Neighborhood Plan, $311.4 million for the Housing Plan, and $60.4 million for the People Plan. These investments will create vibrant destinations, improve neighborhood safety, ensure residents of all ages thrive, and honor the rich history and culture of the Third Ward.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Houston Housing Authority, Cuney Homes, and the Third Ward community for this significant achievement. The Bullard Center remains committed to supporting the Third Ward-Cuney Homes Transformation Plan, fostering a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future for all residents.
