Vonda Lackey, M.A.

Vonda Kay Lackey serves as the Youth  Program Coordinator for the Bullard Center. She executes, assess and improve high quality youth development programing in the Bullard Center. She is responsible for  planning, organizing and executing youth internship programs.  Additionally, she is responsible for the development and implementation of environmental literacy for interns.

Vonda is a first-generation Texas Southern University (TSU) graduate. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Prairie View A&M University. She has nearly thirty years of service in the University community, serving first as an Outreach Counselor and Advisor for federally funded pre-college and first-generation college programs. She has a passion for assisting students obtain their academic degrees to secure a professional career.
