Dr. Olonilua selected as a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Region 6 Advisory Council
Dr. Oluponmile Olonilua, the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program Coordinator and Faculty Associate in the Robert D. Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University, has been selected as a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Region 6 Advisory Council. The Council is a statutory committee that advises the FEMA Regional Administrator on matters related to emergency management and homeland security in Region 6. It is composed of representatives from state, local, tribal, and private sector organizations. The Council meets regularly to discuss a variety of issues, including:
