David A. Castillo

David A. Castillo is the External Communications Specialist currently serving at the Bullard Center. With a keen eye for digital engagement, he skillfully manages the Center's social media presence by curating compelling content, engaging with users, and meticulously analyzing performance metrics.

David holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio and TV from Sam Houston State University, where he honed his skills in the dynamic media world. He further enhanced his expertise by earning a Graduate Certificate in Social Media from the University of Florida. David has collaborated with organizations such as the Houston Rockets, Fox Sports and Disney throughout his career. He also worked at Houston Health Department, where he showcased his talent in leveraging social media to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

David indulges in various creative pursuits in his spare time, including small-scale projects and producing short films. As a passionate advocate of video production, editing and creative content creation, he has enthusiastically submitted several short film projects, which he co-produced, to local film festivals in Houston.

Beyond his professional achievements, David finds joy in immersing himself in the world of movies, attending live concerts and cherishing quality time with his family.
