Destiny Anaele, MPA

Destiny Anaele is a Program Coordinator for Outreach and Community Engagement for the Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program at the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University. She is an Urban Planner, Public Administrator, and advocate for Environmental Justice. Destiny’s passion focuses on the effects of climate change on disadvantaged communities in the phenomenon known as Climate Gentrification.
A Houston native, Destiny loves to travel the globe. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Texas Southern University. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy at Texas Southern University.
In addition to her work, Destiny frequently gives presentations on environmental justice, climate change, and community resilience, sharing her expertise with diverse audiences to raise awareness and drive action.
